New large ship which had very pleasant decor. Nightly entertainment was great with lots going on - few bands in different locations playing great music. Acts in the theatre were all good and enjoyable and was about the only time there was a crowd of people - else where on the ship as in bars and lounges it was not at all busy as you may expect with so many on board. Any que at the dining rooms seemed to move quick enough. But this is where our dissapoinment was - food badly presented and limited menue with a fillett steak and chops COSTING USD 10 - have never heard of this on any cruise we have been on!!! This was our 12 th cruise after having travelled Oceania, APT, Holland America , Cunard and never have we had such uninteresting meals . Same vegetables each night , carrots even cut exactly the same way , tough meat and deserts not looking appealing - no garnish with berries only scoop of melted ice- cream !!! Ordered egg benidect for breakfast and it arrived without the hollandaise sauce -,chicken Kiev with no garlic butter!!! Our meal in Chops was indeed tasty and enjoyable, Jamie Oliver's was ok but didn't need a return visit. Staff tried really hard to rectify our complaint - but the problems were from the kitchen and with over 4000 guests I think to feed the crowd was a priority over delicious meals sadly. All staff were very attentive. Because we have cruised many times we had these to compare with Ovation of the Seas and were so dissapointed with our dining experiences , especially with lots of days at sea.
Size was average , pleasant furnishings and bathroom good. Was an obstructed balcony so only had a lifeboat to gaze at . When we booked we were told cabin could have an obstructed balcony or maybe not. When we asked if possible to change was told full ship and we did have fresh air . Wow !!!
