We chose this cruise as it was stopping at all the places we wanted to see plus an off board overnight trip to Angkor Wat. We joined the ship in Hong Kong, usual no fuss very easy getting onboard, we were in Hong Kong overnight and didnt fancy finding our own way round so went to tour desk and booked a very nice little trip for thew next day doing highlights of Hong Kong .We rested and relaxed on the first day onboard but found the service very bad. Met our dinner companions that night, nice lively table of 8 (though 2 disappeared after 1st night never to be seen again ). Set sail that evening, and next 2 days we were cruising. I dont know if they had changed staff at Hong Kong, but the service was appalling the first 3 days. My husband nearly had a row when a bar person ignored him for nearly 10 minutes and served everyone else that came anywhere near the bar. After day 3 it seemed to improve with lots more supervisors around .

We did 2 big trips on this tour, Hanoi and Angkor Wat, both because they were too far to do on our own. Hanoi we did the overnight, pointless very tiring but the guests who did Hanoi in a day did same as us apart from we got a dinner and puppet show in evening, and stayed in hotel (which was the best I have ever been in). We were then told we had to be up by 6:30 to get coach back to ship and we were late and last to board. I would rather have done Hanoi in day then gone back to ship late and used next day at rest on ship. The dinner wasnt anything special and the puppet show ........well dont bother, we were all so tired we all fell asleep.

Angkor Wat.........what can i say absolutely marvellous, if you get a chance dont miss it. Very tiring, but its the most wonderful trip I have ever been on. Only 28 of us , lovely tour guide, really nice hotel. Only thing I can complain about was we had a 3 course lunch in hotel every day, would have been easier for everyone if we were allowed the hotels buffet lunch, we could have then had time to shower or rest for a little while. There was a dinner show with dancing at Raffles Angkor one evening, it was splendid. The buffet was brilliant, the show itself was very interesting, only problem was Angelina Jolie was in town having dinner with King so they shut off all the roads for them coming back to palace and we got stuck in hotel car park (innovative driver found a way out eventually and got us back to hotel) but it didnt take away the fun night we all had

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Balcony cabin port side front, very close to lifts which was handy. It didnt get much sun in afternoon which was nice as well after a day on deck

Singapore

Love Singapore and we had 2 nights there in hotel just doing whatever we wanted, which was much better than the poor people who went home from the ship disembarkation as they disembarked at 9 in morning and were taken to airport where their flight was not until 1am next morning !
