Wanted to check out the brand new Carnival ship. The new additions like the skyride and ropes course were really cool. The slightly modified room layouts were also nice and seemed slightly less cramped. The addition of two USB chargers on the wall came in handy.

Some of the changes like the smaller lounge and the BBQ restaurant only being open on certain days weren't a good thing. Overall we enjoyed it but it would be nice it they offered more 7 day cruises like the rest of their boats. Six days is too short and eight days is a little harder to manage also.

Removing two of the hot tubs to the havana suite area were also a negative. The rear deck hot tubs are also no longer limited to 18 plus so you have to go to Serenity to get into a hot tub that is actually running at a warm enough temperature to do any good.

Cabin 4A

Very good location. Easy to reach most attractions via a few flights of stairs.

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Grab a quick shuttle to Seven Mile Beach. Shuttle is $4 each way and the resort entrance is $2 per person.

Ocho Rios

Decent, skip margaritaville, the service is horrible.

Cozumel

Go shopping then get back on the boat.
