This was a last minute cruise. Wanted to try NCL as we've cruised before. Sad to say, we wont be on this again. Knew cabin would be small going in but the bed was atrocious. Two cots wrapped in a layer of foam put into mattress protector, hardly twin size which is how advertised. We hurt every morning waking up.

Buffet and dining options were disappointing. The best meal we had was at Cagneys steakhouse which cost us a pretty penny more. Like the freestyle type of cruising, but seems to be a way to offer cheaper options.

Activities were scarce and entertainment was subpar. The comedian/magician-old jokes that have been around. He didn't have a separate show 18+ so I dont know if that would have helped. The main shows-seen better. Lots of college age kids trying to get through performances and the Rock show was more of a male revue for males, if thats what your into.

Cabin Review

Inside

While the room is understandably small, the bed was the worst. Both husband and I woke every morning with hips hurting. We are 50 so its not like were old but not young either. I looked under sheets and saw that we were sleeping on cots that were put into mattress protectors with a layer of foam wrapped around them. Not real size twin mattresses at all. The soap and shampoo in the shower is a nice touch but seems to be watered down as it was not sudsy so it didnt feel like a good clean. We had bought our own stuff not knowing these were provided.
