We picked this cruise because of the pre-cruise activity: a visit to Angkor Wat. This trip is NOT to be missed. So, for us, the rest of the trip was sort of a bonus or an opportunity to get away. That doesn't mean there weren't some good stops, there were: Ho Chi Minh City [Saigon], Keeling, Taiwan and Hong Kong standout. We also enjoyed our stop at Kaohsiung, Taiwan; that was a three temple day. We traveled before on Regent so we knew what to expect. However, we were still surprised at the level of service and attentiveness throughout the ship.
One major problem with Regent excursions, however, is that they are rushed and leave little time to explore on your own. We 'bagged' a couple of planned ship excursions to explore on our own. Force marching a group through a museum is a silly [and frustrating] activity. So, if Regent is reading this: "Take us, let us explore the museum and then pick us up at a set time."
The food on this trip on the Voyager was better than previous trip in 2015; same ship.
Lovely cabin. Quiet and in the middle of the ship [as you can see by any of the maps]. The redo of the interior during the recent took out cabinets and places to store stuff. The cabin is worse for it. Overall it is a nice cabin with good storage in the closet [look for the blanket hidden in there.]
New table for breakfast was a nice addition. We also liked the curtains to separate different parts of the cabin.
