My fiance and I went on this cruise for our spring break and it was just us two which made it easy to get into restaurants and such. We flew into Miami the night before so that we would have time for any hiccups that might occur. This was my second cruise and his first so we didn't have extremely high expectations and I had never traveled with NCL before. The embarkation process was extremely smooth....there were employees everywhere to help with questions and tell you where to go. Very smooth. One thing I noticed right away is that they had employees stationed throughout the ship around the eating areas and getting on and off the ship spraying hand sanitizer on people's hands. Loved that!! They are clearly into keeping everyone healthy.

Entertainment: I have heard that NCL and this ship in particular had excellent entertainment except you literally have to book any shows you might want to go on the first day! We tried the second day and every single show for EVERYTHING was sold out. So that was a huge bummer. Anything special you might want to do on the ship, book first day!

Food: The food was pretty good and they had food available almost all hours of the day so that was super helpful and flexible. There are 3 main dining rooms on this ship: The Manhattan, Savor, and Taste. They all have the same menu which changes every night but it's a nice mix up of scenery. The service at the restaurants was excellent! We only had 2 people in our party so we never had to make reservations and always got right in with no wait...if you have 6 or more I would get a reservation.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin IC

We had an inside cabin with no window and we were on the lowest passenger floor at the front of the ship. The low floor helped when we hit big tropical storm waves at sea! Actually loved our room--plenty of room for too and so dark for sleeping :) It's obviously small because it is a cruise ship but like I said, plenty of space for us! Our bathroom was a decent size and the the shower was too! Really impressed with that!

Port Reviews

Miami

Just spent a little time in Miami and it was nice! We stayed in the downtown area so we didn't get a huge taste of Miami but it is a very busy place!

Nassau

We decided not to book an excursion here because of our bad luck with cancelled adventures thus far on the trip. First of all, there were FIVE cruise ships docked and it was a sea of people. SO MANY PEOPLE. We immediately hopped in a taxi to go to the public beach at Atlantis. It was $4 each way per person. Like a 15 minute drive so not bad! The beach was crazy crowded and there are people everywhere trying to sell you things. If this doesn't bother you I would say go for it as the beach is nice and the water is clear as could be! They have jet skis and banana boat rides and all sorts of fun things. Just have to be okay with people in your face trying to sell you stuff! Also, getting back on the ship was time consuming here because everyone from every boat was trying to get back on their ship at the same time. It took at least 20 minutes to get through the gates to the ship dock. GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO GET BACK TO YOUR BOAT! Otherwise, great stop!
