So this is my 3rd cruise on this ship. I've always been able to book a Veranda suite, this time I was in V5. But now they offer a Concierge Package for an additional $350. A lot of people would think that was excessive but for me and my DH it was wonderful. My DH has the beginning stages of dementia and all that was offered was a God sent for us. When you check in the Concierge comes down and escorts you to your suite which was already ready. This is a shout out to Sandra our concierge. From there on she was at our beckon call. Our suite had a bottle of chilled champagne, a bowl of fruit and chocolate covered strawberries. We were given free passes to the wine tasting, a free cocktail hour in Commodore Lounge and free dinner in the beautiful Admiralty Club and a free couples massage. My husband and I passed on the massage. So Sandra came up with something even better, a tour of the Bridge. We got to meet the Captain, his officers and were given cocktails and canapés. The next morning we get a champagne breakfast in the Admiralty Club.

On the second day we decided to stay on the ship. The weather was cool for us Floridians so we passed on the pool and went straight to the hot tub which was clean big and hot. We ate their hot dogs and hamburgers by the pool and it nice and quiet cause everyone was on the island. We got to see the Family Feud which was fun and my husbands favorite show. Then we were off to the Admiralty Club for a fast lobster and filet mignon. It was our anniversary so they brought out a small cake with a candle and Happy Anniversary on it. We were then off to the show in the main theater. Now my review on that is that the dancers were great, the aerialist was great, the magician was funny and the comedian was not. The old cruise line had a cruise director/comedian call Steve Zimmerman and they should bring him back. When we got back to our room there were homemade chocolates. So the trip was wonderful but now we have to get back to West Palm that is 50 nautical miles west. The problem was the seas in Gulf Stream are 10 feet going to 12. Our Captain knew what to do. He parked our ship in the calm waters of the Bahamas and wait until 4 am when everyone was asleep and made a run for it. It was great we got in at exactly 6:30 am.

I loved every minute of this cruise even the rough seas. If you go in June you won't have any rough seas and I highly recommend this ship again but especially the Concierge Service.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda Suite

Beautiful and big. Two flatscreen tvs, a living room, king bedroom, nice size bathroom with a tub. A walk in closet that lit up when you open it. Balcony was a nice size. Plenty of storage and actual wine flutes and appropriate high ball glasses. Colors in the room very serene and couch and chairs comfortable.
