Chosen for location and timing. Ship was old and tired with many problems including air conditioning, tenders, internet system (awful) and plumbing. Nice staff could not overcome these many issues in my rating. The high end, Pinnacle restaurant was quite disappointing. Exercise area was small; certainly not large enough in early morning to accommodate the many users. Food overall was excellent. Cabin staff excellent. I'd avoid this ship if possible. They "nickel and dime" you with expenses. We've been on eight cruises on 5 lines and this one garnered our lowest rating.
Cabin OK except for mechanics.
Activities were good especially the culinary art activities.
Ports were OK especially those in Peru and Ecuador.
I would not choose this ship again and less likely to choose Holland American.
Departure city of San Diego was great... weather, easy port location, lots to do, airport close, GasLamp area was convenient, fabulous zoo, much more.
Reasonable space, good access to walking deck, window has one way viewing which is great. Terrible air conditioning. Sink problems. Cabin facilities are tired.
Perfect departure port because of convenience, things to do and weather.
Been there many times. No longer interesting.
I liked this place... nice, simple... more representative of Mexico.
Interesting,
Great for shopping. Safe and varied.
Loved this port. Museums and city are marvelous... Cruise line worried us with crime warning but the city was docile in all areas we visited.
Beautiful, lots to do, restaurants, etc.
Convent from 1600-1700s... amazing. Don't miss it. In good condition. It's library is like going to that century.
