Seabourn Sojourn Cruise Review by Pvtravelgal
- Sail Date: February 2017

Originally, my husband and I were scheduled to cruise on Silversea on basically the same itinerary. That ship was chartered out (as ships have the right to do!), so we chose Seabourn even though we didn't really like the idea of six days at sea. We flew from L.A. to Singapore, spent four nights at the fabulous St. Regis Hotel, then boarded the Sojourn. This was our sixth cruise, the previous five being on Silversea and Regent. We are definitely discerning guests, and we must say that the quality of food/wine, entertainment, guest lecturers, activities, available excursions, attitudes of staff - simply exceptional! One amazing day we spent on a private island in Thailand (Ko Kood - sp?) with water toys and sports, over the top B-B-Q, available massages on the beach, champagne and caviar hour on surfboards (sounds corny, but fantastic). Our day in Halong Bay kayaking and hiking in caves was also fantastic. We had chosen the mid-ship two and a half day excursion to Angor Wat which was well worth the price. This was an extremely friendly group of like-minded people onboard (mostly 60's couples as ourselves), and we made fast friends for dinners and excursions AND for my husband's birthday dinner. Sure, there were a few little issues, but overall, we are absolutely sold on Seabourn!
