I just returned home after a quick disembarkation this morning in Miami. It was the fastest I have ever seen despite initial confusion the night before in being able to get the right luggage tags to self assist bags off the ship.
I was attracted to the MSC Divina by the competitive pricing and beautiful, modern, spaces on the ship. In fact these two components were enough to sway my party from booking Royal Caribbean or Carnival and try something different.
A quick tidbit about me--- I am millennial traveler, and this was my 6th cruise. I have sailed on Carnival and Royal Caribbean in the past with Carnival being my favorite overall. I found most of the cruisers on MSC to be between 35-60 and not nearly as many children as on other lines.
Cabin was fairly standard in size. Their was a king bed and two upper pullmans that were overtop of the king. A very small single seat chair was next to the bathroom and across from the vanity area. Closet space was adequate for 3, but would be tight for 4. Bathroom was nice with the glass shower doors. It felt more premium than a Carnival cabin, and larger than a Royal Caribbean interior. Bed linens were pleasant, and mattress was on the firmer side.
Nassau has nice beaches, and I had some luck in the Atlantis Casino. The high pressure sales gets old real quick though. It almost becomes an annoyance and makes you want to get back on the ship.
Beautiful beach and public pool at Margaritaville. Probably the best beach day port you can get in the Caribbean.
Went to El Morro and took the tram around Old San Juan. Very pleasant and fun. Affordable admission into El Morro as well.
