Sail Date: Mar 2017
Cabin: Inside

This was my 30th cruise on seven different lines.

Embarkation: This was the fastest I have ever experienced. Kudos to the staff at Port Canaveral.

Ship: very beautiful but the set-up of the ship is not your average ship. Not nearly enough elevators to handle the 4200+ on our ship. On every ship I have sailed, the upstairs cafe is always in the back of ship. on this ship it is up front on deck 15. Food at all venues was good nothing great but very satisfactory. The service in most cases was good but have experienced better service on other ships. I think the size of the ship can effect the service level. We choos this ship for a weekend get away and to see what a large ship is about. I did not think the experience was the same as a smaller ship. Last sailed on Pride of America Hawaii trip and the service was better to me. Large ships may have everything, but I think smaller ships give a better cruise experience. I do not know that if this was my first cruise, I would return. This is nothing against Norwegian, just that my wife and I prefer a smaller ship with small details that the bigger ship just cannot provide.

Cabin Review

Inside

Cabin IE

The inside cabin was the best I have experienced. Some people would not like the set-up but seeing that this was my 30th cruise, I think I talk from experience. This was the first room on a ship where the shower was separate from the toilet. As you walk into the room, the shower is on the right behind a frosted door and the toilet is on the left with a frosted door. The other good thing was that there was a curtain just past the shower which gave a little privacy for someone taking a shower. Space inside the room was great with as much or more storage as I have seen on some balcony rooms.
