My mother and I traveled on the Marina to celebrate her 90th birthday. She lives near New York and usually takes a ship from there. For this milestone birthday, she decided to be adventurous and fly to Miami and try a new cruise line.

We spent a night pre-cruise at the Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay which was just lovely. The service could not have been better, the rooms were very comfortable and the location was perfect for an early morning walk. We had airport-> hotel and hotel-> port transfers, these were smooth and efficient.

Embarkation was easy and quick. The rooms were not ready for about an hour after we had arrived on board which was a little difficult traveling with an older person who was ready to rest.
