The Carnival Paradise boat absolutely sucks for any ages. The boat is old and needs drastic updating. The rooms are nasty and the beds are uncomfortable. For my experience in particular this week on this cruise ship much has happened for me to say "hell no" to carnival if I would ever be asked to go again.

Firstly, a day before we drive 9 hours to Tampa to board the ship we become informed by the cruise line that the boat has engine problems which decreases the maximum speed for the ship. For that reason, the cruise line sent an email stating that we would not be going to the destination we booked months for. However, they did say that we would get $25 each back and would go to Coasta Maya instead. It turns out that we did get the $25 but did not port at Coasta Maya at all. This means that out of the 5 days we sailed, we were only allowed off the boat for 12 hours in Cozumel. EVERYONE on the boat was sea sick due to the slow average speed we were progressing because of the engines that were broken. On top of everything else, a water pipe busted, which left the ship with an awful smell and brown water for hours. Hours after the captain had announced the water was fine, I decided to brush my teeth.. well the water was still solid brown.

The food on this boat was absolutely disgusting. The dishes were not properly washed. Out of the dozens of people who went to complain every day to guest services, no money was ever given back. So this review wanted to know if I would ever go back... well I'm pretty sure everyone who sailed this week has the same answer as me & its HELL NO. Next time I will go on a Royal Caribbean cruise.
