This cruise was a once in a lifetime experience. I read the reviews online. The excursions seemed exciting. The ship looked beautiful. Our connections were great. Our agent from NCL lined everything up perfectly. Our hotel in Waikiki was more than we expected. It was Oceanview and lovely. We had time to explore the beach area. What a wonderful start!

Embarkation went very smoothly. There was a line but it went quickly. We had to wait about 3 hours to go to our cabin since the suitcases weren't delivered. It would have been nice to have a welcome aboard with at least reduced price drinks and appetizers. That didn't happen. Our cabin was small but sufficient. The problem was they did not get serviced until 6-7 at night so we had messy rooms and no clean towels, even after being gone all day.

The food was what we expected, good but not great. Now the dining staff (not any Hawaiian natives) bordered on being rude. The one waiter corrected my friend's pronunciation of "tomato", not once but 3 times. Some of the staff were pleasant but some were doing you a favor to wait on you.

Cabin Review

Obstructed Oceanview

Cabin OK

Small but sufficient. I can't imagine more than 2 people in this size cabin
