We sailed Presidents Week 2017 in an Aquatheater Suite on Deck 10. There were six of us in the suite. Four adults and two children, ages 12 and 15.
Embarkation - Not as smooth as it should have been. We were not allowed to be dropped off at the Star Class part of the terminal. That made it a lot more difficult than it should have been. On top of that, there was major confusion about whether or not the bags should come with us or be taken by the porters. After about 15 minutes, our bags were placed in a luggage cart that had "Royal Suite Class" banners on it. The luggage was taken and scanned and in our room before we were. If you are Star Class, make sure you are dropped off there and avoid the issue we had. Once we were inside the terminal, we were checked in and brought to our Royal Genie, Reyno. We were on the ship and in our cabin in no time!
Cabin - We were in 10330. Two bedroom, two bathroom ATS. The smallest of all the two bedroom aquatheather suites, but it was perfectly adequate for all six of us and all of our belongings. There is ample closet space, the only thing I wish we had more of was drawers. There is definitely a lack of draw space for six people, but we figured it out, used shelves in the closet and drawers in the living room area. The star of this stateroom is the balcony. It's insanely large and definitely somewhere you want to spend your time. We watched the the shows from there and the binoculars are a huge bonus at night when you see othe ships and want to find out which ones they are!
Can't we just skip this stop? You are there for a few hours and hardly any time to do anything except shop.
Port Everglades terminal is lovely.
