This was our fourth Caribbean Cruise with P& O over the past six years and our second time on Azura. We were not intending to go this year as we are already booked on Azura in Jan 2018, with a group of friends. I saw a late deal and we decided to go for it and absolutely no regrets.
We have previously sailed on Ventura and Britannia in the Caribbean and both enjoyable.
We have always booked a balcony, but on this occasion the deal was for an inside cabin which would be a new experience for us.
Cabin Review
Inside Stateroom
Very Clean and tidy, plenty of storage space for clothes and personal items. Bathroom small but no problems/issues.
Port Reviews
Grand Turk
Man made site, says it all. Go further down the beach for a better experience and good beach bars.
St. Maarten
Went to Orient beach by taxi, beautiful beach, utilised the services of Kon- tiki Beach Bar,
Excellent service, good sunbeds and food.
Tortola
Went back to Cane Garden beach, sea was a bit rough but still enjoyable and relaxing
Aruba
Went to Eagle Beach by bus. The beach is lovely. Had a relaxing day before returning to the ship
Grand Cayman (Georgetown)
Seven Mile Beach is popular but you can find a quiet spot and enjoy this beautiful beach.
Barbados
Spent the day on Carlisle Bay beach at the Cococabana Beach bar, have been there before, the bar, restaurant and changing areas were kept very clean. Food is good, service can be slow, but it is the Caribbean. Beach and Sea are beautiful. Will call back next year 2018. Good location, not far from Bridgetown, easy walking, especially along the beach.
