We just returned from a fabulous cruise from Barcelona to Barcelona, including Monte Carlo, Rome, Corsica, Sardinia, Algiers, Tunis and Valencia. The itinerary was interesting and a bit off the beaten track.

The new Viking Ocean ships are extremely comfortable, beautiful to look at, and filled with marvelous public spaces, many with glass ceiling enclosures. The Penthouse Junior suite was roomy and very well-equipped. The beds were divine.

Our cruise director, Heather Clancy, was remarkable. She brought us all together to greet new friends and she has a fantastic Mezzo Soprano voice, which entertained us so well. All of the entertainment was above average....musicians and dancers alike.

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Junior Suite

Our cabin was spacious, beautifully decorated, and everything worked so well

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

We visited the Hills of Rome and got a good perspective of the City.

Tunis (La Goulette)

The traffic in Tunis is so bad that we had little time to walk around.

Valencia

This is a beautiful city. We covered the old town very well by walking.

Malta (Valletta)

We went by bus around the scenic island.
