This was our second cruise with Viking the first was a river cruise & the second the ocean cruise. The room was fabulous - we were in a deluxe veranda with heated bathroom floors, mini bar, cappuccino maker, robes and slippers just to name a few appointments. Food and service was excellent. They offer an excellent selection of wines & beers which are included with you meals. The staff always remembers your preference (i.e. I preferred a glass of white wine with the appetizer and red wine with the main course - impressive!) The shows were great and the lectures interesting. The spa, snow grotto & sauna were great - after spending time in the sauna you are encouraged to spend time in the snow grotto - this is a Swedish ritual. Then you can spend time in the spa or relax on heated lounge chairs. The ship also has an infinity pool & indoor pool. We can't say enough. We were so impressed that we have booked another cruise for 2018 & are considering other future destinations. They offer "loyalty" discounts & early booking discounts making the value hard to beat. Most itineraries offer free airfare or discounted rates.
