I have cruised 20+ times too many to remember and am 36 years old... my wife and I traveled alone for first time in over ten years so nice to be alone for a trip finally

We stayed at the Hilton Ridgefield Park the night before... they have a stay, park, and car package. For $209 we got a room, our car parked for the week, breakfast, and a car service to and from the port. It was well worth the price and altho the bed in the room was rock hard it was good.... pick up from the pier was a bit unorganized as you have to cross the street and wait for 20-30 minutes for a car to come get you... my recommendation is to call as you are walking through the pier and get a head start. It was like 20 degrees out so standing outside for 20 mins felt like 2 hrs.

Embarkation was a breeze. Left hotel at 1030.. got to pier at 11... went through security and check in in about 30 minutes.. and were on the ship by 12 noon.
