This was our 21st cruise on RCCL. We both are Diamond Crown and Anchor members. We had a terrible cruise on the Navigator of the Seas in November of 2016 and had considered leaving RCCL due to the terrible service/food. We decided to try again to see if the line had truly gone down so much after our Navigator experience.

We sailed on the Oasis of the Seas leaving Port Canaveral on Feb. 26. Our itinerary included Labadee, Haiti, Falmouth, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico. In a word, our cruise was EXCELLENT! Our faith in RCCL has returned. Everything was the way we expected it to be. Embarkation was great and we were on board within minutes. Our luggage arrived long before we sailed. The food was actually better than most RCCL cruises and yes, we had lobster! In fact, we had all the lobster we wanted. The food in the main dining room was excellent while the food in the Windjammer was superb! Yes, superb! The chef in charge knew how to present food in the proper way. There was variety and quality in the food selections. After sailing on the Navigator of the Seas this was really a vast improvement from the terrible service and food they provided.

I cannot tell you how much we appreciated the attitude of the crew. Everyone of them had a smile on their face and greeted us in companionways with hellos and smiles. This went a long way with us! Crew members continually asked us if there was anything they could get for us or do for us. Really a plus. The Captain did things right and cared about his passengers. Truly I cannot think of any negatives at all about his cruise. I wish the Captain of the Navigator of the Seas could have seen how we were treated. It was a lesson to be learned. I cannot stress how much we enjoyed this cruise, it was great.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Cabin was great. Typical sized room that was sound proof. Could not hear joining cabins at all. Air conditioning was excellent. All items in the room functioned perfectly.
