Cabin: Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Having long wanted to visit Hawaii, and disinclined to take any more flights than necessary, I saw this as a perfect opportunity to escape some of winter.

Additionally, we have a Navy Seal grandson stationed at San Diego, so the two days before and one day after allowed time to catch up, as well as to enjoy the city.

The only downside was the horrendous music festival on March 4-5, whose sound penetrated our adjoining hotel's walls. I have no problem with other people choosing their music, but do not like being kept awake by what amounted to a public nuisance.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VC

Cabin was comfortable. While small, it was perfectly adequate as long as we kept things put away. Verandah was a plus - especially for the night viewing of volcano lava flow.

Port Reviews

Kauai

Good small beach -easy walk from pier.

Kona (Kailua Bay)

Good port aren't walk about on your own.

Ensenada

Not interested in one more Mexican port city.

San Diego

San Diego can be easily explored on your own: waterfront, the great zoo, the good restaurants in Little Italy.
