The biggest reason to pick this cruise is the itinerary. It is really a good deal if you are doing back 2 back as it only repeats Barbados and has a port every day except 1. Also, there was no tendering, which made it convenient to get off and on. I was very disappointed in the nickle and diming. First time I've seen a cruise line charge for popcorn! The in room entertainment sucks. The problem is not so much that aside from CNN & ESPN, which are great, they repeat the same sitcoms/drama's over & over. That's right, a full week of the same episode! I know...you don't go on a cruise to watch TV in the room, but when you're getting ready in the room, it'd be nice to see different episodes of The Big Bang Theory.

I was pleasantly surprised at the dining in the MDR. Based on prior reviews I read I was prepared for bad, lukewarm food and slow service, but found just the opposite. Most meals were excellent and the food was served hot and quickly. We were at a table for 8, but only had 2 couples.

This ship is not for those looking for a lot of action in the evening. The main evening activity centers around the Centrum, which is a little tight for the crowds it attracts. Read more
