We chose this ship because it went out of Tampa where airfare was half of what it was to any other east coast port. It was the next to the worse cruise I have every been on. Smelly, limited menu, little in organized activities other than trivia and infomercials. Can't believe they still do the potentially dangerous belly flop contest, and the worn out Newlywed game. How about Mother and daughter instead of husband and wife? Anything for variety for repeat cruisers. Only activity was scrapbooking which not everyone does and they even charged for that. Entertainers went from fair to terrible. Poor port selection which we knew in advance. We did not know, however, that one port required a half hour tender each way. Service was the poorest I've ever had. Assisstant waiter had to be shown how to put butter on lobster by head waiter. Didn't see her again that meal. Orders repeatedly wrong. Big ordeal just to get ice in the cabin. Had someone trying to break into cabin at 2:00am. Just my daughter and I on cruise and we were scared to death. Finally got them to send security, Never heard anything so stayed up most of the night assuming that they would call to reassure us. Next day I went to guest services and they said Security went up there and didn't see anything. Thanks a lot. Being up most of the night caused us to miss an early tour the next day. Cabin was good size, but sleeping on the floor was more comfortable than the beds. Prior to cruises, got notification that there were enough for M&M but never got invitation on board. Even though I am Diamond, I am seriously considering skipping RCL when planning a cruise. The worst one I was on was also a RCL and nothing was done for us either.
