We chose this cruise mainly because of the cruise destinations namely Cuba, Mexico and Caribbean. I'm so pleased we took very little notice of some of the negative reviews we read before we booked. Our experience couldn't have been bettered. The main reason for this was the quality, friendliness and professionalism of the staff - they were great. Nothing was too much trouble and everything they did for us they did with a smile - a genuine smile. It was obvious to us that there is some great leadership happening aboard this ship and we saw many occasions when the officers would get their sleeves rolled up and help and support their teams when times got busy. This is a cruise ship that really does put their customers at the centre of everything they do. We loved it thank you MSC. The cruise destinations were fabulous and the organisation around embarkation and disembarkation were extremely well organised.

We did hear some moans from a couple of other passengers around ship excursions having unexpected elements within them such as having to pay an entrance fee to particular sites that were being visited,and the time it takes to get to those sites, however, this was all explained thoroughly within the ship excursion brochures and was essentially down to those passengers not reading them.
