We choose this cruise because we LOVE cruising and wanted to see New Orleans and try a different ship.....and this one fit both.... we arrived a week before Mardi Gras and had an amazing time.....getting on and off the ship was not the best .... as far as I am concerned the terminal is not the best.....you are getting on and off through the same doors...total confusion....we had a penthouse suite (first time) and are platinum so once we got to the check in line everything was smooth and great after that...The ship has been refurbished and looks great....cabin was beautiful ... an aft facing balcony...just loved it...butler service was awesome....we had speciality dining 6 out of 7 nights ....Cagney's and Le Bistro were both great....excellent service and great food....Moderno...service excellent and food was okay....Teppanyaki was a disappointment...service was excellent but food left a lot to be desired. We enjoyed Cozumel...just sight seeing around the dock...Roatan was great .... we did the zip lining and had an awesome time...(we are both in our 60's) and first time but the staff was great....very safe and secure....would highly recommend this....Harvest Caye was clean and beautiful...we rented a clam shell and had a great day...food was excellent....Costa Maya was beautiful....just explored around the dock....all in all a wonderful vacation and would do it again in a heartbeat.....ship and cruise were amazing....we love NCL....
