First time cruising with Princes and I was NOT impressed at ALL! It seem like NOT one employee wanted to be there. Not to many smiles from anyone all week and for sure no one went out of there way to go over and above for anything to make you feel special. I think the Deck attendants were probably the friendliest. The servers at the restaurants were not rude but they just made no effort into being friendly either. It must be a horrible place to work! Our Steward we met the 1st day and never saw him again until the last day, kinda weird all the other cruise lines we've been on seems like we've gotten to know them a little. He did his job each day, we just never saw him.

Entertainment in the Main theater was horrible! we went the first 2 nights and then the last night for the Voice - pretty low budget-don't waste your time. The lounge entertainment is somewhat better. Bartenders NOT friendly either, usually they are and it;s fun to get to know them but not on this ship! Never had clean towels available at the adult pool not even a spot to put them as far as we saw.

I was also very disappointed in the phone service I got when calling before our cruise to many questions I asked and I could not get definite answers for, perhaps Princess should train there employees a little better and then it would not be so frustrating on our end as a customer. I lost my drivers license at the end of the trip departing in San Pedro somewhere in the Customs and luggage area, I called right away that same afternoon once I realized it was lost and talked to a Princess employee once again someone untrained told me I would have to call Customs on Monday since it was in there territory and not Princess's. That next day(Sunday) I thought I would call Princess again to see if I got a different answer and sure enough I did. This gal at least somewhat cared and filled out a lost and found form for me and said I would get an email confirmation on Monday from them. I never got a confirmation on that Monday so I called Princess and they acted like I was bothering them and really didn't seem to care. I explained to them that my license was a legal document not a sweater that I lost and possibly could they check to see if it had been turned in, they told me it could be 4-6 WEEKS before they would know since it would be sent to there corp. office which is also in Los Angeles. This was the most ridiculous thing I had ever head and seriously they could care less.

We choose to go with the inside state rooms since we needed 2 rooms. Plenty of space in both rooms. LOTS of closet space. No regrets on getting these rooms. The money we saved we used for extra excursions!
