This cruise included Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Music was basically Jazz.. The passengers were born in the 50's for the most part. Entertainment was awful. High school musical and amateurish. Comedians were very good. Pool deck music was good only one day. Marano restaurant was awful. Ordered chateaubriand for 2. Meat was well done and dry. Mushroom soup was very salty. Nothing remarkable on the menu compared to the regular dining room. $50 per person is a rip off. Maitre'd in Shilouette on 4 was terrific. Waiters were accommodating and attentive. Attended 2 talks on shore excursions and the speaker was not knowledgeable about the ports. Not acceptable. Food for the most part was good. Ports were great except for Costa Maya. Too small for 5 ships. Mardi Gras was GREAT! Ship was conveniently docked near the Julia Street streetcar station. Walking distance to Emeril's restaurant. French quarter was fun and very safe.

Cabin 07

Cabin wasn't cleaned when we boarded. Dirty duvet and sheets. Tampon in garbage. Toiletries left behind.. Sunscreen and lotions from Walmart. Awful experience! Not acceptable for Celebrity.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Small port.. Nothing much here except cheap souvenirs.

Costa Maya

Good port . Taxi ride to the town only $8. Good food and shopping.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Clean and walkable. Guy Harvey was in his shop and autographed our purchases. Nice clean stores and restaurants.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Great city with entertainment, restaurants and hotels. Fast seaport for boarding.
