Sail Date: Feb 2017
Cabin: Oceanview (obstructed view)

Seeing Australia and New Zealand has always been a dream. We found interesting things to do and the scenery was always beautiful. The ship is due to retire and be sold soon, and it definitely showed. The entertainment was quite good with a lot of variety - singers, magician, comedians, even a ventriloquist. The Princes singers/dancers were very talented. One night two dancers did an absolutely magnificent ballet routine during fairly rocky seas. It was breathtaking and seemed so dangerous but it was so gracefully performed.

Ports:

Sydney. 5 days pre-cruise. Blue Mountains, downtown Sydney, Symbio Wildlife Park.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OW

I made a big mistake booking this cabin! I didn't realize that "obstructed view" meant completely obstructed. I know it's my fault, but I really feel Princess should have made it a bit more obvious. I don't think anyone would book an outside cabin that is completely obstructed when you can get an inside cabin that's less expensive. Very very unhappy with the cabin choice. Since this cruise is really about the view, and it is cold in New Zealand on deck, view spots inside were few and far between. So this was very disappointing. I would definitely get a better cabin were I to do this cruise again.
