This cruise had the makings of a horror story for us, waiting on a runway for 3 hours, plane very delayed in Toronto, 8 year old with the question of Daddy, are we going to miss our ship? Tears flowing, heart breaking..

Finally getting to Orlando, hoping the transfer was still there, but alas, the Royal Caribbean person had left us, well it was already 30 min after the ship was suppose to leave, so up goes the cell phone to call the emergency line... the ship is waiting... the families all excited, cheering. But why had the person took off? who knows, grab a cab. $120 to get to the ship, royal offered us a credit onboard for the taxi.

I've never embarked so quickly. it took us 5 min. They had to reopen the building for us. But we made it. Happy happy 8 year old, darn happy daddy.
