I find these reviews so helpful, which is why I am now submitting one. A really quick overview- This is a good cruise.

Pro's: Celebrity has recently added Beverage package as a perk depending on when and where you book. I find the ever increasing price of cruising and the ever increasing cost of beverages onboard make this a must. I say this, yet I don't drink. Sounds silly I know, but the people I travel with do. If Celebrity stops offering this as a perk, I will stop sailing with them. The staff were incredible. Almost everyone ( with only one real exception) was incredible. They were happy, helpful, and in abundance. The food on this cruise seemed to be the best I have had in my past 7 cruises. We ate in the dining room and the ocean view café. I personally see no need to pay the additional fees for the specialty dinning, I guess I'm just too impressed with the food selections that are part of the fees. The private island was beautiful and the tender process very smooth. Self disembarkation- it was very smooth and no crowds. We walk off in the morning with our own bags!

Con's: Embarkation at Fort Lauderdale is not smooth and seamless. It's not Celebrity's fault there are just too many ships in port. It is chaos. I am always comparing embarkation to the best in my opinion ( San Juan) which was on the ship in 10 mins. Jamaica is not a safe port and we felt it. I didn't like this port of call in the least. the moment we left the cruise port area we were swamped with vendors- what doesn't seem to be realized is that we might actually buy something if you let us look in peace. It was unfortunate that due to weather we couldn't get off in Cayman, but again not Celebrity's fault at all for weather. There was a credit on our folio as a result but the strange thing was the different people got different amounts on their folio as a credit. When we spoke with guest services they said it depended on where you booked and when- which was odd because our group had all booked together at the same time and still got different credit amounts. The worst however was the staff at Bistro on 5 in the Café. Honestly the morning person was so grumpy! and inconsistent in her approach to information with customers. I don't think she likes her job and it shows.

Cabin Review

Ocean View 7

Cabin 07

We had a cabin at the front of the ship- it was the largest room thus far on any cruises!

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Way too many ships in port- chaos

Cozumel

Not much to do, every time I have been there ( 3 times) the snorkeling cancelled due to waves- perhaps not a good idea of offer snorkeling on this island

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

We couldn't get off the ship due to waves- I heard there were people on the ship that had tried several times and always had it cancelled. I think the cruise line might need to look at the itinerary

Falmouth

outside of the cruise port area, very dirty and hassled by vendors. Did not feel safe
