My husband and I went on our first cruise onboard the Pacific Aria on a four night cruise to Hamilton Island to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary We felt that four days would give us a feel as to whether we liked cruising or not. Based on this cruise, we feel that we will be doing more cruising in the future. The embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly and was very well organised. We chose a cabin with a balcony as many people had suggested this to us and this was a good idea. We were on deck 10. The room was great - it had everything we needed. The dining selections on the ship also were good although the signature restaurant - Luke Mangan's Salt did not impress us at all. We had better meals at the Waterfront restaurant and Dragon Lady. The service was exceptional especially by our cabin steward who smiled all the time and knew our names after the first day. There was something for everyone on this cruise. You could do as much as you liked or as little as you liked. Contrary to other reviews on this ship, it was clean and well maintained. The crew were forever cleaning. Give it a try and don't read too many of the rotten reviews.

Cabin Review

Cabin BB

Our cabin was great. It had a balcony and a king size bed in it and plenty of storage room. A very comfortable sofa, an adequate TV, a fridge and a shower over a bath, which was fine. Clean sheets and clean towels all the time. Our steward made a penguin out of a towel which was very cute.
