Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

I chose this cruise cruise for two reasons. (1) Found a great price for the dates traveled. and (2) wanted to go on a smaller vessel. The ship is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. I noticed the hallway carpet en route to our stateroom was beginning to come apart slightly at a seam. Called maintenance and it was repaired within hours! Note, if you see something that needs attention, let someone know. They can't fix what they don't know what broken!

Out excursion was rained out at the first port of call (Roatan) ...but the staff made the very best of a disappointing situation. Belize was a little cloudy, but still great. Entire staff was super. Didn't encounter one single "grump," always smiling and seemed eager to please!

Food was great in the Windjammer ... at least as good as the main dinning room. I'd have to rate the food in the main dinning room average. Outstanding Waite staff, food ok, but nothing to write home about. We also took advantage of the two for one specialty dinning. The Giovanni's Table was superb! Not only was the food outstanding, but our waitress was as well. Made the dinning experience wonderful. We found the Chops Grille just "really good." I won't hesitate to take advantage of this deal again, but we just might eat in Giovanni's Table twice! We found it that good!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D1

Not sure is this was a D1 or D2? but a great cabin either way. We've cruised quite a bit, but this was our first time in a stern cabin. It will not be our last! As I said earlier, considerable vibration the first night or two of the cruise, but nothing after that! Loved the cabin. Lotsa storage and huge balcony. A great stateroom!

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We hopped on a local ferry and journeyed across to Playa Del Carmen. $22 round trip for both of us! That's not each person, but for both of us! Lotsa fun. Walked the beach on Play Del Carmen, and ejooyed a cold "adult" beverage and the best Pico de gallo ever at a local outdoor pub. Not it wasn't Senior Frogs, but a small sports bar right next door. Had a ball. Great experience and one we will repeat whenever we land in Cozumel.

Costa Maya

Been to this port many times. This trip, just walked around the port shops. But did enjoy the time there

Roatan

WE had sooo looked forward to snorkeling here, but alas, rained out! Went into the port anyway. Got wet, looked around but discovered nothing special in the port. Would like to go back and explore more of the area and try again to snorkel.

Tampa

Just boarded the vessel here. Great to port to get in and out of. Soooo much better than Miami or Ft.. Lauderdale. Parked at 241 Parking and walked to the ship. Use these guys every time. Very convenient and always treated right. Highly recommend them.
