We chose this cruise purely because of it's destinations and the fact that they had a kids club as we were travelling with our 12 year old son.

Embarkation was a total nightmare - preference was given to those that are elite/gold status which 80% of the passengers appeared to be so the entire boarding lounge was literally long long queues.

We had a Mini Suite deck 9 - room was ideal for the 3 of us and handy having the balcony. Only complaint with the room would be the fact that you have to be incredibly careful with putting only the min amount of toilet paper in the toilet or it blocks. They are very good at quickly unblocking them though and by the sounds of it it's a full time job for someone as many people we met had the same problem.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin ME

Rooms were over all good. Beds comfortable. Good sized wardrobe and nice having two TV's. Air conditioning was drying and you can't turn it off which was annoying so hard to get the temp. just right.

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

Lovely time spent at Santa Monica and Universal City - great just wandering around and experiencing LA

Manzanillo

Amazing - get a $15 taxi to Las Hadas Hotel if you want a relaxing day in one of the best hotels ever! It cost $35 to enter and this included all the food and alcohol for the day. The place was literally empty so we had the beautiful beach and pool to ourselves. Various water activities available too. Real gem :)

Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera)

we hadn't organised anything for this port - wish we had as there was not a lot near the port area.

Stanley

Fabulous place and so interesting hearing about the history. Ask for a guide called Tim - he was brilliant!

Montevideo

It was New Years day so pretty much everything was closed. We hired bikes which gave us a general idea of the sights.
