Having been on Quantum of the Seas 18 months ago, I was interested in seeing the new version. Both ships are very similar (although Quantum now has a much larger casino and no Music Hall).
The problem with a 3 day cruise is everyone goes hard from minute one, leading to long waits for service at the bar (especially frustrating when you want a beer, and someone pushes in and orders 6 espresso martinis...). People also forget any pretence of manners and become absorbed in their own attempts to fit everything in - although this isn't RCLs fault!
The ship itself is an AWESOME device, and Two70 is an amazing space on a cruise ship. The crew are always friendly, although the dining arrangements for Anytime Dining are a bit haphazard.
This cabin is on the 'flare' at the rear of the ship, and hence has a balcony twice the size of a normal balcony. However being on the starboard side it's near the smokers area on Deck 5 and it's associated noise and smell.
The "obstructed" view is over or in front of a lifeboat, and not that big an issue. The cabin is laid out with lounge area near the door and the bed near the balcony, which I personally find preferable as you don't have to constantly walk through the narrow gap at the end of the bed.
Boarding was very slick apart from our check-in girl being in-training which added 5 minutes. If you do all your homework and upload your photos etc in advance, check in is very quick.
