I chose this ship for the destinations, and amount of things to do at night and entertainment. My husband has COPD and needed a scooter to get around and wanted a big ship with a lot of activities to choose from. The Allure is beautiful, with an excellent staff! The food is excellent. I felt though there was not attention given to providing seating and accessibility for people with scooters and wheelchairs. Although staff tried their best to accommodate us when dining it was obvious that the way the room was laid out that it was not accommodating to us. We were forced so many times to wait for elevators because some times people just wouldn't even let us in. Had a couple or even one elevator been reserved for scooters, that may have helped I am surprised that this was not taken into consideration by Royal. At the theater there was a row designated for people with disabilities but not at the other shows. A small information center designed to answer and accommodate guests with special needs should be established! Other people we met with disabilities voiced to us their same concerns.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Al, our statement attendant was the very best. He was a wealth of information and service to us and he is an invaluable employee. The cabin was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. The shower could have been a little bigger, more towels should be laid out on arrival, but other than that no complaints.
