We were traveling with a small group of 19. We live in the Tampa Bay area, so access to the ship was smooth and easy. We hired Barracuda Travel for transport our group from our community clubhouse and it worked perfectly. A helpful porter, Larry Hemmingway, suggested we put some identifying item on our luggage and then we returned, he had pulled our luggage and grouped them together. So very easy!
Embarkation was smooth. Debarkation was a bit slower but I venture to say no one on the ship missed their flight home.
The ship was beautiful! We have previously enjoyed several Holland America cruises: this was the best so far! The combination of excellent dining and entertainment, friendly staff, great service plus wonderful weather made the trip perfect. I hope this doesn't sound like an infomercial for Holland, but after this cruise, the bar has been set high for my future cruises.

Large balcony,we were able to sit 6 people confortably to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.

Took a taxi to beach town. $2 per person in taxi, Very relaxing and you can support the locals.
Key West
Easy port to get around on your own. We rented a electric cart which was good in some respects but due to limited parking, if you want to go to Hemmingway's House, just take a taxi.
