We chose this ship because we wanted a modern ship which was large enough to not be too rocky in heavy seas as my husband is prone to motion sickness.

We had a delightful 12 night cruise where we would often wake up to a new vista each morning when we docked at a new port. Everything about this ship is first rate where you always feel your satisfaction and enjoyment onboard is the priority of the staff across the entire ship. The meals at the specialty restaurants were amazing. The meals though in the main dining room was a bit hit and miss. So was the nightly entertainment in the Solstice Theatre. Some of the acts were amazing. Some not so good. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The highlight for us was travelling through the wondrous New Zealand Sounds. Up close and personal, it was truly a humbling experience.
