my family and I had never been on a cruise ship before and did not know what to expect. We flew from NJ to Port Canaveral to embark on a small 4 Day cruise to the Bahamas on the Majesty of the Sea.This is a great first time cruise. We did not know what to expect everyone on the boat was very helpful. Everything was smooth from checking in at the port to the departing process. the boat is not overly huge so it is easy to get around . Not to mention the one on one / personal attention you get from the staff on a smaller boat. we became friendly with a lot of the staff and and on the night before we were to leave we went around and hugged them all good bye. it was very nice. we loved it so much that as soon as we got back home i booked us another cruise for the same week but on a bigger boat.
Cabin Review
Ocean View Stateroom
we had 3 people its a boat so lets face it the cabins are small. the only thing i did not like about my room was my TV was mounted at the Head of our Bed so if we wanted to watch it we had to lay at the foot of our bed. also the 3rd person sleeping arrangement was not good. my 27 yr old daughter had to sleep on a pull down bed that came off the side of the boat. she felt every bit of movement and the ladder to get up and down was all metal not so great. she wound up sleeping with my husband and i the entire trip.

Nassau
did not take an excursion. Nassau is not that nice. we took a cab to Atlantis. we enjoyed our time there very much

our experience here was great. no hang ups. easy in the port and easy on the boat.
