Aqua class.
This was our first time in Aqua class. We loved it! The service by Wilber and Novi in Blu dining room was second to none, the Head waiter of Blu obviously ran a good dining room and it was a credit to him. The food was delicious. We have been on many cruises with many cruise lines but this was the best dining experience we have had.
We didn't use the otter perks of Aqua class (Persian garden etc) to us dining in "Blu" was worth every penny of the extra paid.
The light woodwork gave a light and airy cabin. The bathroom was extremely spacious with the larger sized, multi jet shower. Plenty of wardrobe space.
The bed was next to the bathroom leaving the double settee and coffee table next to the balcony - the arrangement we personally prefer.
The Pool deck is above but this didn't cause any problems. There is however an overhang from the deck above which does stop the sun on the balcony.
We were Port side and this worked well for this cruise. Several ports had local entertainment as we sailed in and this could be enjoyed from the balcony,
We went independently to Gardens by the Bay for the light show. It was 6 dollars for the taxi. (Each way). Taxis are plentiful. The show is free. Certainly worth a visit.
We went shopping in the Kadies Market. A short tube ride. Easy to do independently. Lots of bargains, local crafts, designer "copy" handbags etc etc.
We went in the City tour.
The itiniery was changed without our knowing so I was unable to access much of it. A long, hot, waste of a day for me. Such a shame!
We stayed locally and went to the market a few yards from the ship. Plenty of local bargains.
