Battles of the sexes game in the atrium on deck 6

This was my first time on NCL and I was a little nervous, since I previously had only been on Carnival and thought they were top notch, but I was so pleasantly surprised on how AWESOME NCL made our vacation. From the very beginning it was top notch hospitality. We were greeted as we boarded and went to the sail-away party where we were introduced to our Cruise Director Tyler and his crew (Jessie, Tahani, Alex, Christian, etc.) from the very beginning they brought so much energy that it really got us all amped up for vacation as well. Throughout the week they had themed games (Deal or No Deal, Celebrity Dance off, etc) and themed nights at Spice H20 (80's night, Glow Party, etc). It didn't matter how young or how old you were, everyone intermixed very well and it was a very enjoyable time.

The Howl at the Moon show (dueling pianos) was awesome and our cruise director Tyler even made a cameo on the drums. We went to two other shows After Midnight and The Brat Pack, both very enjoyable. Food was average, we didn't do any specialty dining, but we didn't really need to. O' Sheehans is a restaurant open 24/7, so some nights we would go after H20 or a show and get some nachos for an appetizer or a dessert. We liked that it also overlooked the atrium which had events going on there all the time (a movie showing, game shows, live music).

Pool deck had two main pools. The Adult Pool until 5pm nightly. That's where all the pool events are hosted and then right behind the adult pool is the "kids" pool (any age can use) and water slides besides that. The pool waiters were awesome, they frequently came to us and Ida (our pool waiter) remembered our name after the first day. The only thing about the pool deck is if you want a spot in the sun, those chairs are very limited, so you need to get there early, otherwise you'll be in the shade. We normally got down there around 6:30-7am, got a sun chair, went to the Garden Café Buffet (which is on the same level), ate and then was able to back within the hour (you can only hold your chair for an hour, otherwise security will remove your belongings). The Garden Café had a lot of options and was very clean. Rowan would greet us as we entered to make sure we got hand sanitizer (washy washy, keeps you healthy). We appreciated the extent NCL goes to make sure the ship is clean and to try and avoid sickness. Overall, the crew, the service staff and the beautiful escape made this a time I will never forget! I will only cruise NCL from now on.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin IF

We had a small inside cabin 3 rooms from the elevator on floor 12 AFT. We loved this location. The room was small, only 2 beds, but we managed and never even noticed we didn't have a window. Miky our housekeeper always made sure we had fresh towels, etc. We thought we were going to have an issue with such a small room, but didn't even notice. Probably wont waste the money on a balcony again..unless, I was planning on hanging out in my room more. I am social, so that wouldn't be something I'd need.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

Magen's Bay was Beautiful. We had a "taxi" bring us to the beach and we were able to spend about 2 hours there. In the future, I would probably just pay the $4 each way and get a taxi, as we had to wait an hour after we docked for our excursion and we love spending time at the beaches.

Tortola

OMG! This was the most beautiful beach! We loved it here. "Taxi" brought us here, we were able to spend 3 hours there. The beach chairs were only $5 to rent.
