The ship is in great shape for its age. Of the few cruises we have been on (all from other lines) this has been the oldest but best maintained.

It is a smaller ship, with less activities, shops and likely not the top of the line shows of the larger ships.

They also like having shows late at night. 11 pm is too late IMO when you have a 7 am port.

Cabin Review

Large Interior Stateroom

Cabin K

The room we had 3447, was very quite, did not have any noises in the night and is on a small interior hall that doesn't get a lot of through traffic. The room was moderately sized and decorated in good taste for the age of the ship. No refrigerator in the room.

There were some maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of: Cabinet hinges needed to be tightened so the door would open and close properly. The bathroom door had a screw that I kept finger tightening so that it would not fall out. One of the drawers was not on track and would fall when pulling out, so we could not use.

The biggest issue I had with the ship was awful mattress. The 3 people in my party all had issues with the beds and could not get a good nights sleep.

It also seemed that everywhere you went on the ship around the cabins were cleaning carts, stacks of supplies, vacuums and other stuff that the housekeeping staff would leave in the halls.
