The cruise itenerary was great, starting off in Hong Kong, very friendly place though some issues with the timing of the hop on hop off bus timetable. On the whole great city to visit, would like to go back for a longer stay. Vietnam, what a fantastic place, you can see that they are in their infancy of travel destinations. The people are very friendly. It was a long distance from where the ship docked to first major city(3hours). Long day of site seeing but that's what holidays are for to experience different cultures. Lots of motor bikes. Hay Long bay was amazing, we did not get off the ship here. The next port of call Hoi Chi Min city, went to Cu Chi tunnels, once again a long bus ride however it was worth the trip, very moving place and for a short second with hearing the gun fire from the firing range, you could only imagine what the soldiers would have heard and how frightening it would have been for the young men. Glad we went. Bangkok was good, very busy. Tour guide was very funny and informative, we did not realise that it was known as " Venice of the east" but soon could see why once we went on the river for a boat trip. Very busy place.

The ship was very old in its Decore, the grand foyer was not so grand, needs an up lift. The main bar areas were a little dark, once again just needs an uplift. The cabin was good, plenty of room, bed comfortable. The food was good, lots of variety , they tried to cover all taste. Considering number of people on board you really did not need to go hungry. Rodrigo and Larry were wonderful and nothing was to much trouble to ensure our dinning experience was good. The pool area was very good and clean, only issue people saving chairs and being away for ages.

The crew was very friendly and tried to help. The shopping area was small and staff not so friendly. The activities were varied but not every thing suited our taste but that's life. Cruising is making the most of things and relaxing. The entertainment was good and varied, may not have been to every ones taste but we found it to be good.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

Very good, spacious, enough room to put clothes away and cases under the bed

Port Reviews

Hanoi

Only issue was the length of bus travel from the ships docking position.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

Again the only issue was the travel distance from the ship.
