have been on over 50 cruises. 1st time on princess,not impressed.3things need desperate major improvement.
1st ship needs to be refurbished in the worst way. Here are some of the things I noticed. Tile missing,chipped,dirty around pool area. The a/c was terrible. Hot in cabin,lounges,showroom.called for repair.they said everything fine. Bring fan. Showroom was low ceiling,hot, ant not big enough.Rust showing everywhere.broken windows not fixed,door hinges broken.a lot of chairs broken. The bed matter access were terrible,my wife and I woke up everyday with a backache. The 3dining rooms were very small & not very attractive.Had no hot water for a whole day. Electric going out and flickering. I thought was going into get refurbished soon,but not the case. I asked the capt. When is the next time this ship is going in, and he told me not Till December.2017 and only in for 2weeks to work on the shaft & stabilizer. No cosmetic stuff.
2nd. The food other than the pizza&burgers was somewhere between a soup kitchen& hospital food.

Layout good. A/c terrible. Water temp changes from hot to cold. View outside good. Location of cabin good

Have been tomhawaii 6times so no tours. Just took free shuttle or you can walk over to the Marriott on the beach. No worries
Maui
Went to whalers village. Waves were little rough. Took bus back 2$
Hilo
Took free shuttle into town. Bought fresh flowers at farmers market. Ok to bring on ship
Ensenada
Took 3$ for round trip stutter into town. Then a 15$ 3 hour tour to blow hole and flee market. Nice way to see the place. Sea lions& porposis by the ship
Honolulu
Been there many times .saw all the tourist stuff before so just caught free shuttle to wakikia beach, and walked around town
