This cruise was booked by my husband to celebrate his early retirement and we had a fab time, I didn't give 5 stars due to the lack of stairs mid-ship (let's get that one out of the way), it was a pain at peak times and port days when the lifts just zip past without stopping, one has been out of service for weeks and people cram into the other ones regardless...the walk to either end of the ship to use the stairs there is a long one for anyone who has mobility issues.
the buses collect you directly from the plane and take you to the ship where the embarkation procedure takes place very efficiently- you hand over your passport and get your photo taken, then get your cruise card and off you go. Plenty staff on hand to point you in the right direction and the first glimpse of the atrium with the starburst chandelier.
The ship's decor is modern, neutral colours and we loved it, not everyone's tastes but that's a personal choice.
Superior deluxe balcony cabin, has king size bed, bathroom with bath and shower (not brilliant pressure but ok), sofa area and small balcony.
In hindsight this was a waste of money for us as weren't in the cabin much - next time I'd go for just a balcony cabin, the balcony is the same size regardless unless you have an expensive suite and all the cabins have the same lovely modern decor
Beautiful beach, interesting tour
Beach by Chivalry bus, good fun
Not much around the port, didn't book anything
Nice port, lovely bar called Cheers
Very nice port to wander about, took water taxi to other side of bay, lots of tours (presumably time share) but they're only interested in Americans
Just wandered about the port
