We have been on this ship three times and again we were not disappointed. Granted it is in need of refurbishment but this didn't stop our enjoyment. We sailed from Barcelona where we have been many times and know the city well. Embarkation was very smooth and we were allowed into our cabin to leave bags etc before we went for our lunch. We dined at Windows mdr. It was nice and quiet compared to the chaos in Raffles. (first day only).Waiters were very welcoming and seemed genuinely leased to see you. All crew I have to say were friendly always smiling. Food for the first five days was repetitive and then varied for the rest of the cruise. We always found something to suit us. We did not go on any shore excursions as we found them too expensive. Entertainment was ok. Some acts better than others but not awful. We have sailed with NCL many times and look forward to our next cruise.
Cabin was fine although not huge. Plenty of storage space. Only two electrical sockets. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom ok . Hot water always available.
Barcelona is a wonderful city. We have been many times and never get tired of it. So much to see. Plenty of tourist sights and street entertainers in Las Ramblas is one of its attractions. Cable car ride is also worth doing.
This was our first time in Las Palmas. Lovely town and very clean.Plenty of shops and cafes.
Have been in Santa Cruz several times. Nice to come back again. Good for shopping.
Madeira is a lovely town. Long walk into it but worth it. Get a taxi back. We did the toboggan run a few years ago and it was great. Not for the fainthearted.
Malaga is a great city. So many places to see. Hoho buses are great for sightseeing and available in most ports.
