We chose this 12 day sailing out of NJ for many reasons, but it was not up to par for RCCL.

I will not sail the Anthem again. I want to sail the Allure, Oasis, or Harmony but may not after this Anthem cruise.  I was not happy with the food on the Anthem. I expected the dynamic dining that I had on the Quantum. This was changed one month before sailing and I was not notified. The food on this ship was terrible and the dining director tried to apologize with champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and the last 2 nights we could order whatever we wanted. Which was nice and that food was a lot better.  The food served in the dining rooms was of very low quality and cooked poorly. For example the rib lamb chops were either under cooked or over cooked because of the sloppy job of cutting them up. Some were 2 inches thick others were a half inch thick so their was no consistency therefore some were raw inside others were hard like a rock. This is a crime since this meat is expensive. This meat should be roasted or grilled.  In the windjammer they were served cold and stewed like a pot roast with an awful texture.

We paid for the premium drink package, and then we were told that they ran out of fresh squeezed orange juice on a daily basis.
