This was a group trip. Grandeur needs a major over-all. Noticed seats in the theater were thread bear. . The cabin stewart we had was great, always had a clean room twice a day with towel animals on the bed, several times durn cruise. The staff in the dinning room went out their way . The food for the most part was good. However there were nights that we had trouble deciding what to get. The meals were hot, which was not the case for breakfast, My husband could not get hot eggs or crispy bacon. My Oatmeal was hot. Lunch menu in the dining room was not great. We did better at the buffett. At least there you could make mini subs . The last lunch on board the ham at sandwich bar was slimmy. You could not fit your luggage under the bed as they claim. MY husband main complaint was not able to find any QUIET place to read. The one lounge that was suppose to be quiet, people were talking, it was located outside a kitchen so you had banging dishes and crew talking loudly.
The side trips we took were pretty good . Coral World left a little bit to be desired. The walk down to the boat was all gravel and no hand rail the entire area was under constrution , so you held onto to the constrution post. Hard on seniors. The other trips we took were good. The lobster lunch was good but they weren't Maine lobster. The best trip was going out to a sub and then going down 150 feet. The pilot gave clear directions of what we were seeing & they had someone feeding the fish. Getting and off the ship was pretty easy. Both at the start of the cruise and at the end. The man talking about the civil talked mostly about himself. A complete wast of time.
Room was always neat and clean twice a day. However this cabin was located right below the centrum and you could hear all the noises from what ever they were doing.
