Our relatives chose this cruise and we tagged along. However, it was very convenient for us, living in the LA area, that it was a round trip to and from LA. Captain Michele Tuvo was an exceptional captain - he was friendly, funny, fun and everywhere. Very informative - kept us informed and up to date in a humorous, endearing way. Andrew Kadlec - the cruise director was outstanding. He was a great entertainer as well as a creative and innovative cruise director. We especially loved him on the Wake Show along with Duval, another entertaining young man. The food was as good as any food we've had on any ship (and we've done Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Holland America) if not better! Warning - the deserts on Princess may be hazardous to your health! The shows were great - aside from one magician that failed to wow us at all we were very favorably impressed by all shows. The singers and dancers on this cruise were phenomenal. Top notch entertainment. One note - the "Voice of the Ocean" show was hurried and overlooked some great contestants and skipped to one that was good but not necessarily the best.

Fantastic Entertainment, Wonderful Food, Exceeded our Expectations in all Areas

Cabin Review

Oceanview
Cabin OC P334
Next time we will choose more wisely. This cabin was designed for four travellers and had beds hanging that took up space and was a bit hazardous (easy to hit your head on). Lesson learned: otherwise this was a standard cabin more or less.
