Never been to N. Z. and thought cruising would be a good way. Embarkation was good.

The ship was fairly clean as was cabin but needs updating. Bed was terrible until steward put overlays on. Back headrest needed cleaning so made sure our pillows were away from it. Had a balcony cabin on deck 12 port side. Good spot towards the front of the ship. 5.30 Dining was good. Really great attention from dining staff and had many laughs with them, although Horizon smorgasborg was not as good as on the Royal Caribbeans Rhapsody. Entertainment okay especially the singer/pianist and Born to Dance show in the theatre. Felt really lucky that the weather was good to us, being able to get into the Milford Sound and all the ports. Many passengers had a bad cough that was going around and took them over a week too feel better. We received a e-mail to say a crew member had hepatitis E, but that there wasn`t much chance of anyone being affected by it. Really the e-mail should have said where the crew member worked on the ship, and because they didn`t a dozen or so of us that were on that cruise have decided we probably will pick another cruise line next time
