  3. Ovation of the Seas
Having been on RC larger ship 'Allure of the Seas' in the Bahamas back in Dec 2014, we were looking forward to going on this 3 night getaway close to home. The 'Ovation of the Seas' is supposed to be a smaller ship but in a higher class, so we were expecting a more luxurious cruise. Well, this was not the case !!!!!! The 'Ovation of the Seas' is a lovely ship, very new and clean. We really didn't have anything bad to say regarding the ship itself. The suite, activities and entertainment were also good especially 'The Australian Beatles' Show. Our actual experience on board the ship was disappointing :( We found most of the staff not very friendly. It appeared that there were not enough staff to cater for the passengers. The wait to get a table in the Buffet was over 1 hour. The food in general was quite bland and in the buffet, not very fresh either. Tables all over the ship not just in restaurants etc were not cleaned after people had left then when finished eating/drinking The wait to get a cappuccino/latte was over 1/2 hour. Our suite attendant was very rude, so much so that I made a formal complaint while on board and again in a letter to RC upon our return, but as yet have still not received a reply. This is disappointing to me.

Great Ship - terrible service, average food

Cabin Review

Cabin 10204
The Junior Suite was good as per as the layout, cleanliness goes, just didn't like our attendant. He made a very rude remark which was not appropriate and ruined the remainder of our cruise.
